Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair & Street Car's 1st Year

We went to the 3rd annual Spring Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair and the 1st Year Anniversary for the Street Car. First, while heading over to State Lines for the Strawberry Swing, we had to stop by for a morning jolt at Hi Hat Coffee and also pick up a cheeky snack of macaroons at Annedore's Fine Chocolates. They held the Strawberry Swing at Alexander Majors Barn right on State Line between Missouri and Kansas. There were so many local and neighboring artists with so much talent. We loaded up with some Kansas City, MO art pieces and some unique jewelry finds. Getting to interact with creative minds and really hearing the stories behind their brand. Some live music was playing on the porch of the Historic home and food trucks lined the opposite side of the home. We really enjoyed the KC Pinoy food truck, from the chicken Adobo and garlic fried rice to the yummy Philippine orange juice. The day was a beautiful day to come out and support local artists.

Such cute items to decorate any kids room and, well, even your own! Loving these pillows.

She makes beautiful wooden and resin jewelry along side wooden spoons.

Had to pick up some KC prints! He also screen prints t-shirts and even has coffee mugs.

Their story behind their brand is so amazing and the jewelry is so unique.

These linocut pop culture prints really bring unique flare.

Can't stop loving this whimsical floral jewelry.

Some other booths we liked were Emily Bordner leather works, a great way of showing KC pride and she even has very dainty jewelry pieces. Then Designs by Patterson takes stipple art to a new level.

Kansas City Street Car's 1 year Anniversary

After we left the Spring Swing we went to the West Bottoms for a little antiquing and supporting one of our favorite local bloggers, Elizabeth Blubaugh's booth. As the day was winding down, it was time for not only our first ride on the Kansas City Street Car but also it was the Street Car's first birthday! We sadly missed out on all the morning birthday festivities, but we got to enjoy all of the opportunities the Street Car has to give for easy commute. Now go watch the video if you haven't already to see all the fun we had and we will check with you all at the next Strawberry Swing!
