Grimm's Indie Faire

So the Grimm's Indie Faire  happened back in October for their first ever show at the El Torreon. They are having another event, the Grimm's Indie Consume & Create event which will be taking place on December 9th here in Kansas City, Missouri. If you live local, it can give you an opportunity to shop for that last minute gift and a sneak peek at what you can look forward too. We believe in supporting local businesses especially around the holiday season and we encourage you too as well.

Kris Kafka

Kristen Swanson has been doing art for years and perfecting her natural born talent. Award winner of best in show at the Festival of Color 2008 and Missouri State Fair. She does a mixture of media and these beautiful prints you can buy.

Ross Schartel

A new local artist who takes a twist at everyday household items through his ceramic pieces. Ross has also been featured at the ArtKC Gallery and Arts Alive KC Event. You can see more of his art on his Facebook page and see what show he will be at next.

Isabelle Brown

Isabelle makes all handmade prints, clothing and stickers. She studied at the Kansas City Art Institute where she perfected her love for art. You can shop her Etsy store for more of her print work.

Khrymzon's Crypt of Curiosities

KS Crypt of Curiosities is a mixture of miniatures, oddities, and jewelry. Her miniatures are carefully hand painted and her beautifully crafted jewelry.

Decoylab

Decoylab has some really great wood worked pieces. Maiko makes anything from wooden clocks, pins, earrings, necklaces, and even really cool local art pieces. Our favorite piece was the Kansas City Western Auto woodwork. She has it to where you can build it yourself for a cheaper price. Her art is inspired by decorating your everyday home.

Moth and Candle

Have you ever gotten a Tarot Card reading? We haven't either, but I have always wanted to. Laura Pensar has had over 25 years of experience. It really was interesting and I think I would love to go back and see her for a more in-depth reading.

Elisha Stetson

Elisha is a artist and clothing designer that is currently based in the Kansas City area. His collection was inspired by the Pop Art movement and it really shows in all of these pieces. Our favorite on was the Denim jacket with the donuts.

Kendall Quack

Kendall is a illustration artiest based out of the Midwest. The beautiful way she captures nature through her pen is amazing.

Ps and Qs Handmade

Hannah and Josie are two sisters who created Ps and Qs Handmade from their love for vintage textiles. Many of the Mexican blankets they use are unique and vintage. They make everything from bags, earrings and key holders.

Arcane Path Print Co.

Arcane Path Prints was the designer behind the Grimm's Indie Faire T-shirts. Kristopher's prints and illustrations are inspired by nature, science, and mysticism.

Crystal Arcade

Bethany of Crystal Arcade is not only an up and coming fashion designer but also makes resin cast for her necklaces and other odds and ends. We really liked how she took these squishy rubber waffles and made them her own by painting on frosting and sprinkles.

Taylor Fourt

Taylor is an animation illustrator based out of Alabama. She has been featured in The Adventure Zine, Ink Magazine, The Kansas City Star, Sprint, and Shameless Magazine.

Sweet Destructor

Evie Englezos is a ceramics artist who has an "eye" for pottery. She has been featured in the Kansas City Pitch and the KC Artist Coalition. Her art work is displayed at many events and even at some local shops such as Opal & Gold.
